We start with free play before breaking into groups for our afternoon clubs which include cooking, science, physical education games, art, and technology/engineering. These clubs are based on the concept of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) and encourage critical thinking skills and creativity through enriching activities that are relevant to today’s society. Following the club, we reenter the classroom for story time and afternoon centers which help to reinforce the morning’s lessons as well as offer other enriching activities. At 3:00 we have our afternoon snack followed by playground time or gross motor indoor play.
