A morning with our Toddlers starts with free play which allows children to follow their interests in the classroom and create friendships. Next, we will have our morning snack, followed by circle time. Your child will learn about the calendar, the weather, have show and tell, and sing songs. After circle time, we break into small groups to explore the alphabet, colors, and shapes, play number games, create art projects, and work on our fine motor skills using various manipulatives. We use “Land of the Letter People” puppets to help us learn our phonics. Finally, we will go outside and enjoy time on our playground. We end our morning with a story. Our goal is to have a child who is inspired and motivated to learn, makes friendships, and enjoys coming to school.
