Summer Academic Enrichment

This program will only be offered on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Designed as an academic refresher course for kids going into Pre-K, Kindergarten or First Grade, our summer enrichment program will focus on strengthening reading readiness, pre-writing skills and early math concepts through both written and hands-on activities. All lessons will be interactive and reinforced through frequent use of manipulatives.

 Kids in Space

To start off our summer we will travel into outer space! Campers will build cardboard spaceships, enjoy intergalactic science experiments, and pretend to be astronauts! We will also learn about the different planets, try space food and explore the stories behind the constellations. We will finish up the summer by hosting our own Leapfrog rocket launch!

Dinosaurs

Next, we visit the land before time as we learn about dinosaurs and other amazing prehistoric creatures. We will learn how some species became extinct while others evolved into modern day reptiles and lizards. Children will role play and transform into paleontologists and dig for dinosaur bones and fossils.

Leapfrog Olympics

Let the games begin...As the world watches the Summer Olympics in Paris, we will have our own summer Olympics with some fun competition. Classes will be put in teams and participate in a variety of games, scavenger hunts, creative challenges. relay races, and other sports. Every child will receive a medal as we finish this theme.
